The Gästehaus berge in Aschau is a place you simply have to experience for yourself. 17 rooms designed by Nils Holger Moormann - consistently reduced, stripped of everything that isn't truly needed. No television, no fine dining. Instead, guests find the simplicity and warmth of a very particular kind of inn: full of character, rough edges, and charm, set amid the breathtaking mountain landscapes of the Chiemgau Alps.

When the team at berge came to us with the idea of creating a new in-house mug collection - simple, high quality, handmade, and bearing the berge lettering - we knew immediately it was a good fit. What followed was a collaboration that was genuinely a pleasure. Together we created a small series, available for guests to purchase in the rooms on site - and coming soon to the berge online shop.
